Dental clinic equipment checklist
A dental surgery is a small, tightly coupled system: chair, air, suction, imaging and sterilization must be planned together.
Treatment room
Dental chair and unit, operator and assistant stools, dental light, delivery system, cabinetry and hand instruments.
Utilities
Compressor and suction system sized for the number of chairs, with space, noise and power requirements confirmed against the room.
Imaging
Intraoral X-ray and sensor or phosphor plate system; panoramic imaging where the case mix justifies it.
Sterilization and consumables
Autoclave with sufficient cycle capacity, sealing machine, ultrasonic cleaner, plus the recurring consumable list that keeps the chair running daily.
